3d wooden signs

Bring Your Signs to a Whole New Level with 3 Dimensional Carving

Unlike 2D signs where the imagery is at the same level as the surface of the wood, 3D or dimensional signs have letters and or images that are either carved into the wood or are raised above the surface.

3-Dimensional  Wooden  Carved  Sign

The textural carving of a 3D sign and the shadows it creates is more lifelike, making more of a visual impact than a 2D sign.  3 dimensional wooden signs really stand out from typical flat images that are everywhere.

3D signs grab your attention right away and are very memorable.

Customization Options

3D signs can be carved in any kind of wood. You need to specify wood type, size, shapes, logos, lettering, graphics and if it's an indoor or outdoor signs. There are also special finishes we can add to enhance your 3D sign, used alone or in combination.

  • Painting, to enhance the 3D qualities

  • Background texture, that adds a visually striking  character to each sign.

  • Scorched, for that unique burnt look

  • Staining, to enhance 3D qualities and adds distinctive colour contrast

  • Or simply leave your sign unfinished to achieve a weathered look, letting nature runs its course.

A customer will send us an image or rough drawing to turn into a 3D wood sign. Once we  look at your idea, we provided some free design mockups and estimate.
  • Upon approval of the estimate, we then asked for a deposit based on the amount of work we needed to do to turn the image into a 3D model.

  • Once the 3D design is approved and a deposit is received. We select the wood and glue it together. The wood blank goes through our machining process and then it's ready for carving and painting of the sign.

  • It roughly take two weeks to complete the sign.

  • This will depend on our work load at the time.

  • Design complexity

  • What we have going on in the shop.
